Carousels are a fun and exciting addition to a playground. Spinning at speed can be a great thrill, but if the item is not built and maintained to required Standards, there is risk of serious injury.

Due to the motion of carousels, incorrect gaps can cause nasty injuries to limbs, fingers or toes. ‘In ground’ carousels that sit flush with the ground present elevated risk if required tolerances are not met.

a_space carousels have been meticulously designed and are manufactured and installed to strict quality standards to ensure all tolerances are correct and compliant with AS4685 Playground Safety Standards. Our carousels have been third party certified for further peace of mind.

Periodic maintenance is required for carousels and easy access to the mechanisms below carousel platforms is essential. a_space carousels incorporate a service panel to allow easy access. This is not common to all carousels.

Designed and manufactured in Australia at our central production facility, we also provide fast turnaround spare parts when required.

The 2024 Australian Ninja Games were held in Perth incorporating the first ever National Park Warrior Championships. The event attracted many of the sport’s elite athletes, including contestants from the Ninja Warrior TV series.

The event was held at a_space’s Park Warrior circuit at Whitfords Nodes Park, selected for the quality of its obstacles and robust design and construction.

a_space is proud to share our Active Play Circuits, a new form of playground configured to promote strength, mobility, dexterity, problem solving and resilience. Inspired by the enormous popularity of the Australian Ninja Warrior series, each Circuit is arranged with a clear start and finish containing a series of obstacles in between.

Active Play Circuits are designed to provide a fun challenge. The challenge inspires kids to improve. For some it will be mastering individual obstacles, for others, it will be achieving a ‘personal best’ time.

Through taking on this fun challenge, kids naturally build strength, agility, coordination, stamina and resilience.
